How Vebpartner handles data, including data processed by the Vebpartner Discovery browser extension.

Last updated: October 5, 2026

What Vebpartner Discovery does

Vebpartner Discovery is a browser extension whose single purpose is to identify and surface legitimate business opportunities — such as affiliate, referral, reseller, white-label, franchise, marketplace and partner programs — while you browse the web.

Detection runs locally in the browser first. Vebpartner does not upload every page you visit or maintain a general browsing-history feed.

Data sent when an opportunity is detected

Only after the local detector reaches the configured opportunity threshold may the extension contact Vebpartner. A qualifying discovery can include the website domain, the source page URL without query strings or fragments, detected business-opportunity models, limited evidence signals such as relevant link text or paths, partner-platform fingerprints, a confidence score, the extension version and a pseudonymous installation identifier.

The raw installation identifier is not stored by the discovery API. It is converted to a one-way hash before storage.

Why this data is used

Discovery data is used to determine whether Vebpartner already knows about an opportunity, prevent duplicate submissions, verify and review newly detected programs, keep opportunity information current and show the user the appropriate Vebpartner listing or review state.

The data is not collected for unrelated advertising profiles or the sale of browsing histories.

What the extension does not intentionally collect

Vebpartner Discovery does not intentionally collect passwords, form entries, cookies, private messages, payment-card data, banking data, health records or the contents of authenticated accounts. It does not upload a complete browsing history.

The extension analyzes page content needed to identify business-opportunity signals. URL query strings and fragments are removed from discovery URLs and path evidence. Only qualifying detection data is transmitted to Vebpartner.

Storage and security

Discovery records are stored in Vebpartner’s secured backend and are used for review, deduplication and catalog maintenance. Administrative access is protected by authentication and database access controls.

Privileged database credentials are server-side only. The browser extension never contains a Supabase service-role or equivalent secret key. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.

Control

Chrome lets users disable or remove the extension and control its site access through the browser’s extension settings. Vebpartner Discovery also provides its own local settings to pause automatic detection globally or disable selected domains. The extension also suppresses scanning locally on common login, account, checkout, payment, inbox, patient and medical-record contexts before any discovery request is made. Removing the extension stops further collection from that installation.

Vebpartner will continue to refine site controls and privacy settings as the extension develops.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as Vebpartner Discovery changes. Material changes to what the extension collects or how that data is used will be reflected here and in the Chrome Web Store privacy disclosures.
